These terms cover the promotional website and the FirstStep app entry point. They are written to keep the experience simple, respectful, and safe.

1. Platform Role

FirstStep is a technology platform that connects job seekers and employers.
We act only as an intermediary and do not participate in any hiring decisions, communications, or agreements between users.

2. No Verification

FirstStep does not verify, screen, or guarantee:

  • Job seekers
  • Employers or companies
  • Job listings or opportunities

All information on the platform is user-generated.

3. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying the authenticity of jobs, employers, and candidates
  • Any communication or interaction with other users
  • Sharing personal or contact information

You agree to use the platform at your own risk.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Impersonate any person or organization
  • Misuse or attempt to bypass platform security
  • Engage in harassment, abuse, or illegal activity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules if wanted.

5. Content Responsibility

All content (profiles, job posts, messages, etc.) is created by users.
FirstStep does not guarantee accuracy or authenticity but may remove content that violates policies.

6. Payments & Credits

  • Payments are processed securely via Google Play in-app purchases
  • FirstStep does not directly handle payment processing
  • Credits are added digitally upon successful payment
  • Credits once used are non-refundable

Refunds (if applicable) are governed by Google Play policies.

7. No Employment Guarantee

FirstStep does not guarantee:

  • Job placement
  • Interview calls
  • Hiring outcomes

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FirstStep is not liable for:

  • Fraud, scams, or misconduct by users
  • Loss of data, money, or opportunities
  • Any indirect or consequential damages

9. Platform Availability

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the platform at any time without prior notice.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to users or the platform.

11. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
